Curtain Call

Circus UnArtiq (DE)

A major event

A show combining contemporary circus and movement arts

Circus Unartiq is a show where lovers of René Magritte meet the monumental aesthetics of Christo. Their oversized curtain transforms the surroundings into an open-air theater…

A wide variety of circus techniques, such as acrobatics on the Swinging Trapeze and Chinese Pole, provide the vocabulary for a contemporary metaphorical language and always provide moments of wonder and forgetting of all worries.

Live music mixed with modern electronic sounds: a saxophone plays the soundtrack for a vertical dance on a rope ladder at a dizzying height.

The artists manipulate the versatile setting in elegant choreographies, creating constant changing perspectives and surprising situations. Experience great entertainment for a large audience of any age! René Magritte’s “the lovers” meet Christo’s monumental Aesthetic
